These guidelines are essentially the same as the ones found in the Join page on the main website. Still, it's a good idea to review them again for clarification and reiteration.

So you want to join McNutty? Great! We'd like to have you aboard. However, there are some rules and guidelines that must be observed, as well as some suggestions to help your chances at being approved. I want to get this out of the way first: We do NOT hold in-game trials for new recruits. Because we do not believe in accepting new members based on their skill in the game, tryouts will not be held. If you are very good at the game, good, just don't be cocky about it. If you're not so good at the game, don't think that will disqualify you from this clan. Instead, we hold membership polls where the whole clan body votes on your membership. Your membership must be approved by unanimous consent. If someone votes neutral, you may still be accepted, but if even one member votes against, then your membership is vetoed. It is still possible to try again to join the team at a future point. If you are turned down, we may say what problems were addressed so that your chances may be improved, but we will not disclose the voters. If nobody votes against your membership in the ten-day time limit, then welcome to the clan!

These other points must be considered though.

1) We will not accept new members who are arrogant and boastful and who think the game is all about being the best. We won't take someone who thinks our mission should be to be the most skillful clan out there. We are not the most skillful and most likely never will be. That's not what's important. What's important is having fun and getting good entertainment out of playing the game. That's what these games are created for anyway, entertainment.

2) The process of membership takes time. First, make sure that you have a reasonable amount of experience playing with some clan members or chatting with them here on the board. Second, you don't have to devote every day of your life to being online with us, but you should try to set a regular rate of activity. All we're really asking is that you don't try to join and then disappear indefinitely without word.

3) Keep the atmosphere around you clean. Remember our high regard for respect. Do not start anything with other players, and try to refrain from hitting back at someone when they are starting something with you. Let the BFG do the talking. Twisted Evil

4) Once you are approved for membership, you will be granted rcon access to the McN servers. Rcon access is a privilege, one that you are expected to not abuse. More details will be made available to you if you are accepted.

5) Also once you are approved, you will get to wear the clan tag in the game. Place the [McN] tag right before your regular username. This tag is for clan members who have been formally accepted. Wear it with pride!

6) If you ever desire to leave the clan, of course we may be disappointed with the news, but many people have other priorities. Whatever the reason, we would support your decision and wish you the best.

That is all. Remember that you can submit your request to join the clan right here in this forum.

If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer.

Or better yet... get a QUAD DAMAGE!
