Just interesting. How about resurrect mikes Epic-3 for Quake-3? Do you remember it?

I do remember it Crashy but I don't really have the mod for it. If you have it you can prolly offer it here. Or I will if I can find it, whatever works.

Epic-3 for Quake 3 Arena by [McN]*Mick* (kikemelly[at]gmail.com)

Buy do way. Today was second and more lucky try for Epic-3. I create hybrid from epic 2 when adding epic-3 files instead of Epic-2 files which i removed and added epic 3 files. Its happened when i looking for another, the most stability variant to launch Epic-3. I find out that VM files of Epic2 and Epic-3 is almost compatible. (except loosing one feature: Remote Control Rockets not working) Well i send you this hybrid and original Epic-3 files with special utility and several bindings for Epic-3 only.

Just extract files from archive and put in Quake 3 folder (the same like for Epic-2 !!!). There is two bat-files: epic-server and epic_single. This mod launched buy each one. You need to activate (click twice) epic_single file to launch game. Enjoy!

Binds (two first of them is Epic-3 features only)

/bind t w_toggle (switch for grenade and rocket launcher kind of ammo. You must press T button)
/bind w_detonate

/bind mouse2 +button5 (huk grapple)
/addbot [name of bot] [red/blue team if you have teamplay]
Example /rcon addbot bones red OR /add bot bones blue


To have all native genuine features of Epic-3 you should launch original Epic-3 files with utility Auto Quake (you can download it from www.quakeunity.com). Buy do way! Its very unstable whole system. Better to use hybride.
