JDS clan

I want to ask about JDS clan.

Magik was there on nick JDS Achmed. What happened with this clan and where is members. Maybe somebody know their clanpage or IP of servers.

I know such members like:
JDS Syn
JDS Patroxy
K@m@zaref (JDS Kamaz)

With Syn and Kamaz we play CTF on McN JDS CTF server on map MAPEL4B and others before Mag switch on own server common for all servers RCON password to another. Coz RCON password have a lot non-McN JDS players.

I heard about Archetype server. Wat is it IDK.

The name sounds vaguely familiar but I haven't heard anything about them recently.

Thats the point. When Magik not enlighten us, we may decide that this clan is permanently dead like Evil clan. Coz a lot ex-mambers, but without clanpage and servers.

Buy do way. Im a bit sad if so, because i have good experience with some of them.

Actually JDS is/was McN based.
3 or 4 years ago McN was participating in e+ events.
But you know...our clan was never much into turnaments. Just small number of us wanted to play ranking wars (which wasnt a suprise since we are fun clan ).
Later some of the best players offered to help us in turnaments. But you know, its not that you can join McN rapidly thx to tryout.
So to not spoil our peace, i created JDS clan for turnaments/ranking clanwars, which contained few McN guys and couple friends from EN and FUC. With time we did build quite dangerous team and had some really great matches:)
JDS never officially died. Its just that "excessive side" of the E+ mod became less and less active and there are no clanwars anymore

Buy do way. Maybe we should invite this guys to new forum? When they helped to our clan then maybe they should to know about new forum and clanpage.

I think that is a good idea Crashy. They at least deserve to know that we're still alive and kicking.

It`s not so good. One by one our old good friends and skillful players gone. As you all can see we not have enough active Quake 3 Arena players yet. They prefer now to have adult life. Childhood is over.

I don't know about you Crashy but I would prefer to have the Quake life.

But as we grow older, greater, more important needs do come up. I've told all of you that I am getting my bachelors degree next month. I am moving out in a few years as well, and soon I hope to find full-time employment. Whatever happens to me though I always try to find time for recreation and to stay active here as much as possible. God knows though what is going on right now with everyone else. I wish we could get some kind of word on Bones, make sure everything is going well with him.

I want to know that with Bones all is OK too. But i not have any opportunity to talk with him.

Well, i still playing classical Quake 3 with several mods (E+, Epic-2, 3, e.t.c.). That`s all about me. Somebody can told me that i stopped on my development. But i`ve just prefer good old things with which a lot good memories and experiences is closely linked for me. And i`m care who and what think about it. Cuz it`s my own things. I try to support my clan as long as i can.

Well personally I think real life priorities should come first. But as I said, I will always do my part for McN as well.

Good news from JDS!

18th May we with Snudh met JDS Syn at Flyegherhouse server (excessiveplus). He still active player and he ask me about McN*Magik, did he still active Q3 player.

When i played several weeks ago at Borg Team Pro player CTF server i met there Captain_Hack from Poland. He also ask me about Magik, because not seeing him since long time.

Ye Syn is still active sometimes. I have him on MSN. ;-)
